How to install Kitkat 4.4.2 in Galaxy y duos gt-s6102

Google just released Android v4.4 Kitkat and many of the android users are waiting for this update on their device but Android 4.4 has not been announced for many devices.Android V4.4 Kitkat is a faster and newer version of android which open the gates to new apps and improves your system performance and this is why every android user wants this update and this is why today we are here with a tutorial on How to Install Android Kitkat 4.4 in Samsung Galaxy Y Duos.

• I Recomended To Use Fresh Stock Firmware
•Download Kitkat 4.4 for Duos
•Download ClockWorkMod
•Put Booth In SD Card
•Switch off your phone.
•Go to Recovery mode
•Use the volume keys to move up and down.
•Wipe data
•Wipe Cache
•Choose Apply Update From SDCard
•Choose CWM - > You Will Boot Into CWM Recovery
•Wipe Data & Cache Again Via CWM
•Go To Advanced
•Wipe Dalvik Cache
•Wipe Battery Stats
•Press Back Button
•Go To Mounts And Storage
•Mount /data , /sdcard , /system (if /system already mounted Skip mount /system)
•Now Format /data, /cache, /system and remount them
•Press Back Button
•Choose Install zip From SDCard
•Choose zip from SDCard
•NOW CHOOSE : Kitkat4.4 for Duos.zip
•Choose "yes"
•It will Be Installed.
•After Finished Reboot Your Phone
•First Boot Will Take Time. Be patient.
•If You Have Followed EVERYTHING Above Carefully,You Will Soon Boot Up To Your New Rom
•Signin as Usually
And Please Wait Until Media Scanning Is Completed

      Everything works perfect but torch widget in status bar stucks which doesn't have any Great deal

      That's good to hear, is it much quicker than GingerBread, and how much internal storage is left after installation of KitKat.

    storage is 150mb ,20mb less than the actual but you can delete the inbuilt apps like whatsapp by using link2sd app

    just remove the battery and again put it and go into recovery mode and just wipe data and cache partition it will work

      just remove battery then again go to recovery option & wipe data & chache then select reboot system now . it 100% work . good luck :)

    My Virus-Scanner tells me, that there is a nasty file in the Kitkat-file.
    SPR/ANDR.Senrec.A.6
    Are you sure, that this is not a very nasty software, what you offer here?
